The Board of Directors for 2011 was
elected at the December 5th
2010 General Membership meeting.
Russ Harrison, President.
Russ, originally from the UK, is a
retired major Construction Project
Manager who has worked on shopping
malls all across the country and
discovered Boone Lake (and declared
this is the spot!) while re-modeling
the Bristol mall. His obvious
experience will be a great asset to
BLA. Russ and wife Ann reside on
Boone Lake near Davis Dock.
Montie Tesky, Vice President.
Montie comes to Boone Lake via
Washington D.C. where he worked as a
statistician for the Dept. of
Agriculture. Montie has a degree in
Economics and brings a wealth of
experience to our group. He has
taken on the chore of Governmental
Affairs for BLA and works with
various political leaders to ensure
they know the benefits we provide.
Mike Ludecker, Treasurer.
A graduate Mechanical Engineer from
Georgia Tech, Mike is presently
employed by King Pharmaceuticals as
Sr. Manager of Environment, Health,
and Safety. Mike’s educational and
professional background coupled with
his enthusiasm for Boone Lake make
him the perfect fit for the BLA
Board.
Mary Ann Kinch, Secretary.
Mary Ann is Marketing and Special
Events Coordinator for Johnson City
Parks and Rec. Her responsibilities
include Winged Deer Park which has
the distinction of most lake
frontage on Boone Lake. She is a
key player in BLA’s annual cleanup
day event and brings a wealth of
experience to our organization.
Ron Siegfried, General Board Member.
Ron is retired from King
Pharmaceuticals as EVP Research &
Development. He has served as
President and a 20-year Board Member
of the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol.
He recently joined the Board of The
Boone Watershed Partnership and
chairs the Beaver Creek Watershed
Alliance. He resides with his wife
Alice on Boone Lake in the Cross
Anchor subdivision.
Ken Bronner, General Board Member.
A founding member of BLA, Ken is
currently managing Lake Operations
along with Bobby Booher. Over the
last 30 years or so, Ken and his
wife Ellen have been at the
forefront of most BLA activities.
The knowledge and experience that
Ken has acquired over all these
years are invaluable for our
organization.
Dennis Scheer, General Board
Member.
Dennis worked for over thirty years
as the chief financial officer for
the regional state offices of the
United Methodist Church. As a member
of BLA’s Management Team in 2010, he
served as Treasurer for our annual
Boone Lake Cleanup event, and has
put together a powerpoint
presentation for our use in
soliciting additional members and
Major Sponsors.
Frank Young, General Board Member.
Since joining the Boone Lake
Association Frank has shown himself
to be a tower of strength, helping
with boat maintenance, promoting
innovative ways to capture trash in
Boone’s feeder streams, and as a
strong member of our “Cash for
Trash” Management Team.
Reggie Lett, General Board Member.
Reggie is a manager for Spectra
Energy in Johnson City. Reggie
brings a hands-on business
background to our organization. He
is an avid sportsman and his
activities include riding his
Harley, scuba diving in the Gulf of
Mexico, and enjoying life on Boone
Lake with his family in the Haw
Ridge area of the lake.

All committee chairs welcome
volunteer help, plus you can pick
your own project! If you have a
particular area of interest, here is
the place to pursue it. We
especially need help with grant
research, website development,
agriculture interface, major
sponsorship procurement and many
